Teresa Mockler - Owner and Stylist With over 20 years experience in the salon industry, Hair Artist Teresa Mockler has honed her technical skills and expanded her creative talents to become an inspirational hairdresser. She started her career in Ireland with top industry talents like Barry McKenna and David Marshall. In 1990 she moved to London to work with Tony Rizzo of Sanrizz, where she became involved in the “Alternative Hair Show”. In 1992 she crossed the ocean to San Francisco where she became Artistic Director for Cinta Salon. While at Cinta, she implemented a training program for assistants, and was also the director of all in-salon education, for both assistants and stylists. Many look to Teresa for the latest in hair trends. She spends much of her time in the salon, where she loves to take the extreme from the runway and make it wearable for her clients. While outside of the salon, she has often been involved with New York Fashion Week, lending her talents to such designers as Mark Jacobs, Armani, Margie Tsai, and House of Field, to name but a few. Her work is often seen in trade magazines such as Modern Salon, American Salon, Celebrity Style, Nobu, and Coiffure. Her artistry has also been featured in Vogue In 1994 Teresa was chosen by Redken to become a Design educator. She continues to travel around the world facilitating seminars and directing hair shows. She also works at the Redken Academy in New York City, where other salon professionals come to learn from her techniques.
